The Devil Went Down To Tulsa

So our very intelligent American president decided that he wanted to hold a massive indoor campaign rally down in Tulsa, Oklahoma this evening. In the middle of a fucking plague, and amidst weeks of civil unrest regarding unchecked police brutality across the nation. I'm sure nothing whatsoever will go wrong tonight. Nothing at all. There certainly won't be a spike of COVID-19 cases in the coming weeks that will be directly traced back to this rally, because the orange goblin's devotees don't believe in wearing masks, because not practicing common sense somehow "owns the libs". The President of the United States of America would never do anything that would put average citizens in danger just to stroke his own flaccid ego. I'm sure this is all fine. Nothing to worry about, ladies and gentlemen.

I know you could look back to any time of great turmoil and uncertainty and find many contemporary voices claiming that they were living in the end times, and that's meant to be of great comfort to people living through current turmoil and uncertainty, but things are looking mighty bleak out there. But what do I know? I'm a pessimist by nature. I usually only ever see the dark grey storm clouds rolling in, and not their supposed silver lining. But it's hard to give a tinker's damn about any silver linings when a great big, fuck-off storm is destroying your neighborhood, wouldn't you say?

The game is rigged, and we're all on our own, kids. I hope you've all been keeping the canned goods in your fallout shelters current, because we might have need of them soon enough. Antifa's busing in rioters as we speak, and we gotta get ready for HELTER SKELTER, people!

Hey, the new episode of Trappo's Chap House is here! I know it's hard to give a shit about anything so trivial as a podcast right now, but fuck it! I've already uploaded the damned thing, and now it's here for your listening enjoyment! Or whatever. In tonight's episode, entitled The Bog Man Of Kansas, my cousin Ky and I discuss the quarantine, how the recently-canceled television series Counterpart has become eerily prescient, the scientific inaccuracies of director Rob Reiner's The Man With Two Brains, and our one-time feud with a local weather man back in the long, long ago, before the bad times. It's a thing that's on the internet, and you should listen to it. Because Trappo says so.

Chapter 10: The Bog Man Of Kansas

That's it for this weeks, friends. Let's hope that come next week things get a little better, even though we all know in our hearts that that's just not gonna happen. Good luck!
